week 3 playdough

Theses pictures are from the playdough that i made. It went really well and i enjoyed doing it even if the only thing i could make after was a teapot!!!

ephemeral , conceptual, ethereal art

The first category ephemeral art is art the is only designed to last a short time, the second category conceptual art is used to show an idea or a certain concept to a person who is looking at it, and the third concept ethereal art is art that is very sort and delicate but well refined. An example of ephermeral art can sometimes be masks most of the time they are only used for a short time and then are discarded. Masks are used in all different cultures for plays, or just to reflect culture or religion. I think conceptual art is very important because it really makes you think not just think its pretty and move on and to me that is when art is at its best. critical thinking

Critical thinking is the process of thinking rationally. Critism is mainly focused on the negatives of something and critical feedback is something that must be given to improve performance.For example telling an employee what they can do to improve themselfs, or telling an artist what they can do to improve thier artwork so that they can be at their best. Critical thinking may enhance our experience in fine arts by helping to improve are own because we reall are thinking about it or to come up with reasons to improve other. But critical thinking can also hinder our experience because if we over think it it really takes the fun out of it and it is hard to express ourselfs.

I think there is a difference bewteen fine art and art. I think art is everywhere movies are art, dancing, songs, plays. Really i think art is anything that makes you be feels creative while creating it. I believe fine art is the art which is considered great (to that particular person) such as the mona lisa, theatre by shakesphere, and the eiffel tower. i think the only criteria for art is creativity. If someone trys to recreate something exactly then its not really art because they are just replicating and not being creative.

My name is Kimberly Bowling. But i go by kim. I was born in Texas. My dad was in the Airforce so i have moved around a lot. I just moved over here from England i have been here for nearly three years.There are things i love about America and England I am studying social work at the moment.
